About us
Shine Bright Educare is registered with the Department of Basic Education and is positioned centrally on the Bluff. It is easily accessible from the main road. We cater for kids aged 3 months to 5 years old. We also offer Grade R, Grade 1 and Aftercare. School hours are Monday to Friday 06:30am to 17:30pm.
We provide a warm and secure environment for the kids. We instill discipline and encourage socialization. Your child will be catered for intellectually, emotionally and physically so that they can reach their full potential.

About the Principal
Salome James is a former au pair turned education development specialist dedicated to improving the lives of parents and kids in providing a safe, hygienic and friendly playschool to enhance the wellbeing of children that is located within the Bluff.
Qualifications
Mrs. James travelled to Boston in 2002 to au-pair in the USA for a year of which her passion for children and their wellbeing began. Upon returning she started her courses in ECD, completing a level 4 in 2018 and SAQA accredited level 5 course in July 2022. She recently completed a 150 hour accredited TEFL/TESOL to also teach English as a foreign language.
Goals & Values
My goal is to instil good values and principles within our kids at early childhood level before they head off into primary education. Through our play-programs, educational outings and social events we aim to create a child that is confident, friendly and works to their fullest potential.
About our Staff
All of our staff are friendly, and incredible at what they do. They are passionate about teaching and nurturing kids at their foundational stages in life. All teachers are qualified and experienced with early childhood development (ECD) Level 4 qualifications. They contribute so passionately and positively to the success of our daycare creating a happy atmosphere that makes up the Shine Bright family.
